Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Due to the nature of our products and services, our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed, we unfortunately cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

Physical Products (Prints)

To be eligible for a return, your print must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with proof of damage so we can arrange a replacement or refund.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are non-refundable, including:

  • Digital products (such as photo presets, downloadable content, or editing resources)
  • Video editing services once work has begun or files have been delivered
  • Photography or videography bookings (including adventure or elopement sessions)

Deposits & Bookings

All session bookings may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your date. This deposit is non-refundable but may be transferable depending on availability if rescheduled in advance.

Cancellations made within a short notice period (e.g., 7–14 days before the shoot) may not be eligible for a refund.

Proof of Purchase

To complete any return or refund request, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  • Check your bank account again
  • Contact your credit card provider (processing times may vary)
  • Contact your bank

Sale items

Only regular-priced physical items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We only replace prints if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, contact us at jonathondurlandphotography@gmail.com.

Shipping returns

To return your product, please contact us first for return instructions.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service for higher-value items

We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
